Privacy Policy
The short version
- We don't ask for your name, email, or account — there's nothing to sign up for.
- The numbers you enter into a calculator never leave your browser. Calculation happens on your device.
- We use Google Analytics to count page views and Google AdSense to serve ads. Both use cookies and may collect identifiers like your IP address and device type.
- You can opt out of personalized ads at any time using the controls Google provides (linked below).
What we collect
calc.one is a static site with no user accounts. The only data we directly receive is anonymized usage data through Google Analytics — page views, time on page, country (city resolution off), device type, browser, and referring site. We do not collect names, email addresses, payment information, or any direct identifiers.
Cookies and similar technologies
The following cookies and identifiers may be set on your device:
- Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager): measures
site usage. Cookie names typically begin with
_ga. Identifiers are pseudonymous; we don't see your real identity. - Google AdSense and partner ad networks: serve display ads. These networks may use cookies and identifiers to measure impressions, detect fraud, and (where allowed) personalize ads based on your interests and prior browsing.
We do not set first-party cookies for any other purpose — no tracking pixels of our own, no marketing cookies, no fingerprinting.
Calculator inputs
The values you enter into a calculator (loan amounts, weights, percentages, etc.) are processed entirely in your browser. They are never sent to our servers, never logged, and never associated with your identity. Once you close the tab, they're gone.
Advertising
We display advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its third-party ad partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out tool.
Users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland are presented with consent options before any non-essential cookies are set, in line with the EU ePrivacy Directive and GDPR.
Children
calc.one is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has somehow provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you. Because we collect no direct identifiers, in most cases there is nothing on file to access or delete. For data held by Google as part of analytics or advertising, see Google's own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
